Sepang Test Interviews
Valentino Rossi led the way for the second day running in Sepang today, concluding the first test of the year on top of the standings. His Fiat Yamaha team-mate Jorge Lorenzo was also on the pace today, finishing the test third fastest behind Casey Stoner.
Pramac Racing riders, Mika Kallio and Aleix Espargarò, have returned at work on the Sepang circuit in Malaysia after the long winter break. The day was very hot and this has made an even tougher first day on track for 2010. Aleix Espargarò has slipped while it was going through a slow turn: nothing worrying for the Spanish rider who went back on track without complications just a few moments later. The Pramac Racing Team and its riders will be back on the track tomorrow for other important laps in preparation for the new agonistic season.

MotoGP Test #1
The MotoGP season is about to get underway as the race teams are on their way to Sepang in Malaysia to resume preparations for the 2010 season. The Sepang test is very important, as it is the first of three tests scheduled before the 2010 MotoGP season opener at Qatar in March.
The ‘09 MotoGP season was not an easy season for Dani Pedrosa. An accident-filled pre-season, with operations and recovery time, prevented the Repsol Honda Team rider from arriving at the first race in Qatar with his homework done. Neither the motorcycle nor the rider were ready when the MotoGP stars took their places on the starting grid to compete in the first ’09 MotoGP. Since, the Repsol Team continued to drag behind, both in the technical aspects of the bike and the physical form of Dani.
Casey Stoner set the pace on the opening day of the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana, lapping almost four tenths quicker than his closest rival Jorge Lorenzo. With cool track temperatures of just 17ºC the onus for the riders was on finding grip around the short but technically demanding circuit and despite starting out with a setting he wasn’t comfortable with Stoner worked hard with his mechanics to find a solution by the end of the hour-long free practice.

MotoGP Race Preview Valencia
Valentino Rossi may have sealed the 2009 FIM MotoGP World Championship at Sepang, but there are still scores to be settled involving Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa, and a host of other riders in the final round of the season.
A ninth world title was wrapped up by Rossi in Malaysia, leaving the remainder of the MotoGP class to decide the final standings beyond first place for the 2009 season at the Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana.
Nobody can throw a championship celebration on track like Valentino Rossi, and when a live chicken wearing a crash helmet and a replica of Rossi’s leather riding suit was spotted on track at the Sepang International Circuit on Oct. 25, one thing was certain… Valentino Rossi was World Champion once again.
Rossi finished third in the Grand Prix of Malaysia to clinch his seventh MotoGP World Championship and his ninth title overall. He also won world titles in 125cc and 250cc. It was Rossi’s seventh title in the premier class in the last nine seasons.
