KTM 1190 Adventure R Touratech Extreme Rear Shock
Touratech has unveiled its newest suspension component for the KTM 1190 Adventure R – the Extreme Rear Shock. This KTM 1190 Adventure R rear shock was designed with high-performance in mind, and is a must for the true ADV rider.
The reason? The OEM shock on the new 1190 Adventure R lacks position-dependent-dampening (PDS) and will bottom-out in aggressive-riding conditions. Touratech says this can result in mechanical failures and a less-than-ideal ride. The terrain adventure bikes cross is constantly changing and riders will often need to traverse unexpected obstacles and challenges. They must have suspension they can rely on.
“If you’re serious about riding your 1190 Adventure R off-road, you have to get the Touratech Extreme Rear Shock. You’ll be blown away by how much of an upgrade it actually is,” says Iain Glynn, Chief Riding Officer, Touratech-USA
Combine Touratech’s cutting-edge, PDS “bottoming control technology” with a remote reservoir, fully adjustable high-speed and low-speed compression damping, adjustable rebound damping, high-flow fittings, low friction seals and 50 percent more preload adjustment than most other shocks on the market and you begin to see why this is the shock of choice for KTM riders who want the ultimate in off-road performance.
The KTM 1190 Adventure R Touratech Extreme Rear Shock retails for $1,795. For additional information, visit Touratech-USA.
