2013 Realities Ride: 'World's Largest Motorcycle Poker Run'Guinness World Records Motorcycle Poker Run

An October 2013 correspondence from Guinness Book of World Records reads: “We are delighted to confirm that Realities For Children has successfully achieved a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for ‘World’s Largest Motorcycle Poker Run’. We would like to congratulate you on your record-breaking achievement. You are OFFICIALLY AMAZING.”

This correspondence makes it official – Realities For Children has set a new world record at their annual Realities Ride fundraising event. The record was attempted at their 12th Annual Realities Ride on May 26, 2013 that raised over $120,000 to benefit abused and neglected children in Larimer County.

The five-month validation process was extensive and proves that Larimer County, Colorado, USA is the home of the “World’s Largest Motorcycle Poker Run.”

The Realities Ride has now been verified by two separate World Record Organizations. Elite World Records confirmed 1,531 participants and Guinness World Records acknowledges 1,494 participants. This small difference proved to be insignificant, as their record nearly triples the previous world record of 586 participants. Each rider that helped to set this new World Record is eligible for a Participation Certificate and photos from the Realities Ride may be featured in the next Guinness Book of World Records.

Realities For Children is an alliance of local businesses working together to provide for the unmet needs of Larimer County children who have been abused or neglected. One-hundred percent of the donations raised at this event benefit the youth served by the organization through a collaboration with 22 area non-profits all serving these vulnerable children.
