For the ninth consecutive year, Ride for Kids hosted an event in Las Vegas.
And this year’s ride, which was held Sept. 29 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, raised $63,186 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
The motorcycle charity event attracted more than 375 riders who honored nine brain tumor survivors – the real stars of the ride – Kassidy, Devin, Cheyenne, Diane, Alex, Bradley, Hannah, Kyndell and Nico.
Bradley says: “It’s great seeing all of you coming here for us, donating both your time and money for all of us kids up here.”
The individual, motorcycle club/chapter and motorcycle business with the most raised were Nico Giordano ($8,000); Desert Riders Club ($11,034); and Carter Powersports ($14,454). The top non-motorcycle group was Team Hannah ($2,975).
Patricia Crouse won the drawing for a new Honda CBR250R and Tami Belt won a Bell motorcycle helmet. Debbie Rinaldi won a Tour Master gift card.
The event is still collecting donations online at rideforkids.org. Fundraisers will receive incentive credit through Oct. 29.
