If you’re planning a visit to the Isle of Man TT, or are already there, the grandstand “Fanzones” are areas that allow spectacular views of the famed races.

And to give fans a pre-race experience, the Isle of Man TT organizers created a film featuring TT racer Conor Cummins, who will compete at this year’s TT alongside of Guy Martin on the Tyco Suzuki.

During the film, Cummins describes the experiences at five remove grandstand Fanzones locations – Crosby, Rhencullen, Ballacrye, Ginger Hall and the Creg Ny Baa.

Speaking of these locations, Cummins says that at Crosby riders are “flat out on the tank,” and Rhencullen is “tricky to get right,” while Ballacrye, where Conor watched as a child, is a “fast 170mph approach with an awesome corner.” Conor also highlights the “fast sweeping left” that spectators will see at Ginger Hall and finishes at the final grandstand – the “world famous'”Creg Ny Baa – extolling the virtues of the food and drink and the welcome that fans can expect.

Conor Cummins says: “Apart from the view behind the handlebars which can’t be beaten, these grandstands are the next best thing. The elevated positions will give fans unrivaled views of the riders at critical points in the race and the spectacular locations are all really fast points and put fans close to the action.”
