When the Aprilia RSV4 entered the World Superbike Championship in 2009, Max Biaggi piloted the Italian machine to nine podium finishes, including a win at Brno.

The RSV4 quickly became a popular superbike, but Biaggi took it one step further after winning 10 races en-route to taking the 2010 World SBK Championship

This helped propel sales for the street-version of the Aprilia RSV4. But for those who want to have a machine that’s closer to Biaggi’s SBK, the Factory edition is the one to own. The RSV4 Factory creates an asphalt-ripping 180 horsepower at 12,250, and has a dry weight of 394 lbs.

The RSV4 Factory features Aprilia Traction Control, which has eight settings that the rider can change on the fly. Other aspects of the system include the self-explanatory Aprilia Wheelie Control, Aprilia Launch Control, and Aprilia Quick Shift.

Further, the rider can program the fuel injection system exactly to his needs. An underseat fuel tank helps centralize weight for featherlight handling, which is enhanced by Ohlins suspension.

In addition to the Factory version, an R version has Sachs suspension, fewer chassis adjustments, and costs $6000 less.
