Yamaha World Superbike
Una Conway has joined Yamaha as the new Racing Communications Officer for production model road racing, the position beginning before the World Superbike Championship in Donington Park last weekend.
As Gavin Matheson follows the Yamaha Factory Racing Team in the MotoGP World Championship, Conway steps in to take over his role.
Una Conway will be working under the wings of the Yamaha World Superbike Team but will also be the media contact for all other international production road racing classes such as World Supersport, (European 600 and World Cup 1000) Superstock, and World Endurance.
Irish but living and working in Italy for over a decade, Una has many years of PR experience in the field of motorsport under her belt, both in Italy and abroad, and became officially acquainted with the World Superbike paddock in 2010.
She will be the Yamaha representative in the media centre and paddock at all World Superbike rounds and will oversee and arrange all media requests on and off the track for the Yamaha World Superbike Team and its riders, as well as for any other official Yamaha team and rider in the other above mentioned classes.
