WSBK: Liberty Racing Ducati Prague Launch

2011 World Superbike

The new 2011 World Superbike Team, the Czech Liberty Racing was officially launched Thursday last at the Hard Rock Café in the Old Town Square in the historic center of Prague.

The two Superbike riders Sylvain Guintoli and Jakub Smrz, all the team members of the team and the Ducati 1198 F10 in its new livery, were officially presented to the international media at the event, which included musical and fashion interludes.

At the party were present the fashion designer Michaela Skurhava, who styled the outfits of the Liberty Racing Ducati "umbrella girls," a group of percussionists, Ibiza DJ Deep Josh, as well as the latest Miss Czech Republic.

The Ducati team’s first appointment on the track will be private testing at the Spanish circuit of Guadix on Jan. 12 and 13 next year.

The Liberty Racing Ducati Team will be contesting throughout the 2011 World Superbike season:

10. September 4 – Germany – Nurburgring
11. September 25 – Italy – Imola
12. October 2 – France – Magny Cours
