World Superbike Video

On Sunday, Aug. 1, Yamaha Sterilgarda World Superbike rider Cal Crutchlow stormed to victory with a superb double win at his home race on the Silverstone circuit in the UK.

The young British WSBK rider had dominated the entire race weekend, putting in MotoGP level qualifying times and taking complete ownership of the new extended Silverstone circuit layout.

So fierce was his pace aboard the 2010 Yamaha WSB YZF-R1 that in the second race he delivered the fastest lap of the race just one lap from the finish line.

Cal Crutchlow says: "Silverstone was an incredible experience for me˝, said Cal Crutchlow. ˝Everyone always wants to win at their home track but with seven British riders in the championship there was a huge amount of competition for the wins. The wins are a credit to the whole Yamaha team who worked so hard to give me a package to win on. We´ve been steadily improving our set up and development all year to achieve this, I believe we can go on and repeat the success at the following three rounds."

If you missed Yamaha´s fantastic achievement at the weekend, or simply want to enjoy watching Crutchlow´s Silverstone Masterclass again you can now with this video.

At the end of the Yamaha video you will also find short exclusive interviews with both Cal Crutchlow and Team Manager Massimo Meregalli recorded after the second race.
