MotoGP News

Team San Carlo Honda Gresini´s two MotoGP riders were on duty today as they took to the San Carlo Gruppo Alimentare stand at the Cibus trade show in Parma, Italy.

Cibus Parma is one of the premier event catering to food processing industries. More than 1,000 exhibitors from 55 countries showcased their latest products and services. Nearly 60,000 professional visitors and 900 journalists were said to attend the show.

It was a fun but demanding day’s work, in between an encouraging motorcycle racing Grand Prix of Spain at Jerez and the next round of the 2010 Moto GP season scheduled in a weeks at Le Mans.

The road race pair signed thousands of autographs for racing fans and spent time with their biggest follower – San Carlo Gruppo Alimentare President San Carlo Alberto Vitaloni.

Marco Melandri says: "I had fun and it was nice to see that I still have so many fans, as well as taking the opportunity to pay back our sponsors in a small way. I want to take another step forward at Le Mans as a way of thanking all these people for their encouragement and support. "

Marco Simoncelli says: "That was as hard as a Grand Prix weekend! I signed endless autographs and got a lot of good wishes for the rest of the season. It seems a lot of people enjoyed my last race and I promised them I’d ride even harder at Le Mans.
