WSBK: Jonathan Rea confident for Valencia

WSBK Report

Jonathan Rea is confident time spent testing will pay dividends when he returns to WSBK race action with the Hannspree Ten Kate Honda team at the third round of the FIM Superbike World Championship in Valencia.

Rea lies in sixth in the championship standings after the first two rounds and stayed after round two in Portugal to test new electronics.

He had finished third ion the first race at Portimao before retiring from the second and decided to test at the same venue ahead of round three in Spain on April 11.

Jonathan Rea

"The electronics were really good, and I was easily able to match the lap times that I did in the race.
"I think we’ll roll out the new package at Valencia, so I’m looking forward to that."
