Luca Scassa thinks he can score points in the third round of the FIM Superbike World Championship after a disappointing WSBK debut with the Supersonic Racing Team at round two in Portugal (Portimao) on his Ducati.
Scassa finished 20th in SBK race one at Portimao before an electrical problem in race two with his Ducati 1098 R meant more frustration.
But Scassa hopes to open his points account during round three at Valencia in Spain on April 11.
"I’m disappointed at missing out on the points but it was an important race to understand where we need to go at Valencia. "A big thanks to the team because they did a good job."
