With just four rounds this season the teams are already planning their strategies for 2010. As is usual the pre-season will start at the Spanish circuit of Cheste after the Comunitat Valenciana GP in November.
The circuit in Valencia will be the setting for the first tests on the riders` new bikes, and for some with their new teams, 10th – 11th November, although the official starting date is not until a few months later, February 2010.
The circuit of Sepang is once again one of the tracks that will be used to prepare for the coming season. After the riders` well-earned winter vacations they will get down to work on 3rd February with three days of practice in Malaysia, the first of these reserved for the test riders. The other two days will see Pedrosa, Dovizioso, Rossi and company in action.
There will be another three days for the riders at Sepang later in the same month, 24th – 26th. The final practice will be between 17th – 19th March in Qatar, three weeks before the 2010 season`s curtain-raiser at the Losail circuit in Qatar.
