85 years and counting
Moto Guzzi is celebrating its 85th year as an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, beginning in 1921 with the eight-horsepower Normale—a machine capable of attaining 50 mph and squeezing 68 miles out of a gallon of refined petroleum. Over 150 exhibits are on display at the Moto Guzzi museum in Mandello del Lario, Italy, which is open weekdays from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. and includes free, guided tours. Motorcycles on display include the V7 Record, a production-based factory racer that established 19 speed records at Monza in 1969.
