Smoke: Fine Art of Smoke

Having just celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2004, La Flor Dominicana has beaten all odds and become one of the most respected and requested brands on the shelves of humidors. Despite pleas from the market for increased production, Litto and Ines Gomez refuse to sacrifice the uncompromising requirements of time that result in full-bodied yet balanced masterpieces.

Ligero Oscuro Natural Cabinet 200: A petit corona, its thin ring gauge allows the sun-grown Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper to shine, rounded by the Dominican binder and filler. It is a full-bodied smoke offering a core of roasted nuts and earth.

Factory Press Prensado: Litto Gomez shares, “For years I have been fascinated with our cigar box pressing system. That is why I’m offering a very special cigar shipped in the actual factory press.” Only 400 cabinet style boxes of 120 sticks are available. They feature an aged Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a first-crop 1997 Dominican corojo filler, and a Sumatra seed binder, aged eight years, also grown on the La Canella farm. This 6 x 60 beast is an impressively cool smoke with rich, earthy, and spicy flavors complemented by obvious cedar notes in both flavor and aroma.

Litto Gomez Diez Oriental: Another petit corona, this little jewel is a Dominican puro; the filler, binder, and wrapper all hail from the La Flor Dominicana farm in La Canella, Dominican Republic. This beauty is meaty and full bodied with loads of cinnamon and a favorable aroma.
