AMA Arenacross Results
Babbitt’s Monster Energy/TiLUBE Kawasaki presented by Maxxis’ Tyler Bowers, of Danville, Ky., continued his current reign atop the 2011 AMA Arenacross Series by capturing his fifth consecutive win inside INTRUST Bank Arena on Saturday night.
The AMA Arenacross series’ annual stop in Reno, Nevada, is the oldest on the schedule and always one of the best. This year was no different as fans packed the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center for two nights of exciting racing.
Last season, Babbitt’s Monster Energy/TiLUBE Kawasaki presented by Maxxis rider Tyler Bowers was the fastest competitor in the AMA Arenacross Series.
He posted nine wins and had a considerable points lead in the Arenacross class championship only to suffer a season-ending broken leg as the schedule drew to a close.
Over the last two seasons, a pair of the AMA Arenacross Series’ biggest stars suffered major injuries that not only forced them to the sidelines away from competition, but also left them with a very long road to recovery.
