2011 Monster Energy Cup
Ricky Carmichael, the all-time greatest motocross racer, and Jeremy McGrath, the all-time greatest supercross racer, will collaborate on the track design for the inaugural Monster Energy Cup at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium October 15, Feld Motor Sports announced Friday.
Designed by the legendary Ricky Carmichael, the 2011 Daytona Supercross track had a very challenging layout.
One rider who quickly adapted to the Supercross track Saturday evening was San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart, but he would later crash. Regardless of hitting the dirt, the Haines, Fla., remounted to take ninth at Daytona.

In the 2011 AMA Supercross main event, Ryan Villopoto on his Kawasaki KX450F took advantage of a James Stewart miscue on his Yamaha YZ450F and captured his second straight Daytona Supercross By Honda on Saturday at Daytona International Speedway.
