Nico Terol led the way to score another 25 points in the 125cc MotoGP Jerez race ahead of Jonas Folger (Red Bull Ajo Motorsport) and Johann Zarco (Ajo Motorsport) in a thrilling Spanish GP.
In the 125 class Nico Terol was a clear second ahead of Sandro Cortese (Intact Racing Team Germany) in the second session. The Bankia Aspar rider posted a 2’07.418, with his German competitor second ahead of second Aspar rider Héctor Faubel.
Rain played a deciding factor on Friday afternoon at the Jerez circuit, where the remainder of the combined session and individual Moto2 and 125cc sessions were effectively nullified by the weather conditions.
2011 125cc Rider Line Up
The FIM released the provisional 125cc entry list Monday for the 2011 MotoGP 125 season. This year will be the last season for the 125 Class before Moto3 takes over in 2012, which will be a series that uses four-stroke, single-cylinder 250cc motors.
