1993 MotoGP 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz has introduced the Schwantz School Lites. This exciting new traveling school will deliver the world-class Schwantz School curriculum to select WERA Southeast road race events in 2011.
The legendary Kevin Schwantz had one goal in mind when he started the Schwantz School – create more confident and safer motorcycle riders.
Schwantz, a 1993 World Champion (500cc), doesn’t call the program a motorcycle racing school, but rather a schooling that takes place on "miles of asphalt without cars and other distractions."
Motorcycle Riding School
Think of the Kevin Schwantz Motorcycle Riding School as the perfect gift to yourself. The motorcycle equivalent of a luxury health spa, you will find yourself being pampered by top name instructors, brand new Suzuki motorcycles and one of the most fun, if not the most exciting, racetracks in America: Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. As well for 2010, Kevin will be holding additional schools at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway the week prior to the MotoGP race.
Motorcycle racing enthusiasts can have this kind of once-in-a-lifetime experience as 1993 World Champion Kevin Schwantz will provide a guided tour of the 2.621-mile road course for Corner 9 Club customers at 5:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 during the Red Bull Indianapolis GP.
Kevin Schwantz addressed an enthusiastic gathering of motorcyclists, congressional staff, and military commanders at the third annual National Capital Region Joint Services motorcycle safety event held Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Schwantz is the 1993 500cc World Champion and founder of the track-based Kevin Schwantz School, located at the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Ala.
