A breathtaking last lap battle between Hector Faubel (Bankia Aspar), Johann Zarco (Avant-AirAsia-Ajo) and Maverick Vinales (Blusens by Paris Hilton Racing Team) in the 125cc race at Sachsenring, Germany, saw Frenchman Zarco make a move on Faubel out of the last corner of the race, crossing the finish line at the exact same time as the Spaniard.

For the 14th year, MotoGP took on the Sachsenring circuit in Germany, the second shortest track (2.281 miles) besides Laguna Seca.
2011 125cc MotoGP
Maverick Vinales will head the 125 grid at Sachsenring, Germany, after securing his third pole position of the season, with Hector Faubel and Luis Salom joining the 16 year old on the front row.
Vinales entered the qualifying session all guns blazing, jumping to the top of the pile ahead of Faubel, who had topped the times at the start.

Interwetten Paddock Moto2 rider Thomas Luthi posted the fastest Moto2 time on Friday, a 1’25.458, nearly a second quicker than his Free Practice 1 time at Sachsenring in Germany.
