The Pirelli Scorpion MX asserted its authority on the seventh round of the FIM Motocross World Championship by sweeping every step of the MX1 and MX2 podiums.

2011 FIM World Motocross
Clement Desalle and Ken Roczen received once more the Lovemytime pole position award after winning Saturdayday’s qualifying races. The high temperatures made the riders struggle a little bit more than usual and they are all looking forward to seeing how the weather is going to be, as heavy rain has been forecasted for tomorrow.
David Philippaerts obtained the first overall FIM Motocross victory of the season in Indaiatuba, while Jeffrey Herlings beat his team-mate Ken Roczen and got his second GP win of the season. Both riders took the overall win being tight in points with the second classified.
2011 FIM MX1 MX2
Clement Desalle and Ken Roczen became the first red plate holders of the 2011 season this weekend in Sevlievo, Bulgaria. It was not a good weekend for 2010 MX1 World Champion Antonio Cairoli, on Saturday he could not find his rhythm and today he unfortunately twisted his left new on the first heat.
A week after Clement Desalle aced the MX1 category at the pre-season opening event at Valence in France, Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1 was again treading the top of a race-podium this weekend as team-mate Steve Ramon triumphed at Lacapelle-Marival, north-east of Toulouse.

Rockstar Energy Suzuki World MX1 completed its first competitive motocross race of 2011 with victory in cold and wet weather conditions at Valence in France as Clement Desalle took victory with two wins and a third position and team-mate Steve Ramon was eighth overall.
