The music lineup for the 2011 Sturgis Rally continues to grow, and this week the British rock group Def Leppard was added to the roster at the Buffalo Chip.

It’s only February, but the Buffalo Chip began booking bands for the famed Sturgis Bike Week in August.
Two bands were scheduled this week: Alice Cooper and George Thorogood and the Destroyers. Cooper, who will be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame on March 14 in New York, will perform at the legendary Buffalo Chip on Aug. 6.

Eureka, South Dakota’s own Survivor, Holly Hoffman, has made it to the final five and will be featured in the CBS competitive reality show Survivor Nicaragua’s season finale Sunday, Dec. 19 at 8 pm ET/PT (check local listings for air times in other time zones).

After providing rally-goers a world-renowned array of musical acts and Michael Lichter’s unparalleled motorcycles as art exhibit during Rally Week 2009, the Legendary Buffalo Chip is already kicking it into overdrive to prepare for next year’s rally. Locked, loaded and ready to grace the Chip’s infamous main amphitheatre stage is rock and roll luminary, ZZ Top. That little ol’ band from Texas is sure to deliver the familiar and intricate riffs that landed them in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in the hearts of fans the world over.
"World Class" and "Stunning" were a few words that were used to describe Michael Lichter’s 9th Annual Motorcycles as Art Exhibition held during this year’s Sturgis Rally at the Legendary Buffalo Chip. The exhibit entitled ‘Rebel Rousers, Motorcycle Icons that Inspire Us to Ride’ showcased the most important collection of motorcycles and art to ever grace Sturgis and was viewed by thousands of guests.
