Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart was untouchable Saturday evening at Atlanta AMA Supercross.
After dominating practice and qualifying, the RM-Z450 rider took the Nuclear Cowboyz Holeshot in Georgia Dome, and went on to lead all 20 laps of the main event. The Floridian would finish 1.4 seconds ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto, with Rockstar Energy Suzuki’s Davi Millsaps taking third.
This was Stewart’s first Monster Energy Supercross win of 2013, and has now completed a win in all nine seasons of SX competition, tying the record with Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed.
Attached above is an onboard video of Stewart completing a lap during Atlanta Supercross’ main event before almost 70,000 fans.
