Superbike: Althea Ducati Unveils 2011 Livery

2011 World Superbike

The Althea Racing Team unveiled the new livery of its 2011 World Superbike Ducati yesterday on the occasion of Termignoni Day at the exhaust company’s headquarters in the town of Predosa in northern Italy.

Hundreds of people and industry figures turned out to see team representative Moreno Coppola and Ducati Corse Superbike manager Ernesto Marinelli, take the wraps off the Althea team’s Ducati 1198F.

The main difference in the livery is that the Althea Ducati has a lot more red and less white than this year’s version, in line with the team’s de facto official status.

Spain’s Carlos Checa will be the sole rider in the Italian team run by ceramics entrepreneur Genesio Bevilacqua, who was absent due to prior work commitments.
