Focusing on riders who desire a sport bike that addresses the practical realities of street riding, Kawasaki has redesigned the Z1000 to enhance its “ability to unleash the fun-seeker in every rider,” according to the company. The riding position has been compacted to boost rider control and a re-engineered chassis further centralizes mass and increases rigidity, while the motor has been reconfigured for increased torque from idle through mid-range. The Z1000’s styling has been updated, with more aggressively angular plastic and a new megaphone muffler.
