2013 Oklahoma Rekluse AMA National Enduro Series

For the eighth time in the 2013 AMA National Enduro Series, Factory FMF/KTM’s Charlie Mullins took the top honors.

His latest arrived at the Cross Timber National Enduro in Oklahoma City, the final round of 2013, where he won four of the six special tests.

Mullins, who won the 2013 AMA National Enduro title last round, won the first four special tests, but while in the lead on the fifth, he stumbled down a steep rocky trail.

Charlie Mullins says: “I didn’t crash but it definitely scared me a little so I took it easy at the end of that test.”

Mullins regained his rhythm for the sixth test – the longest and most technical – but he lost his rear brakes, causing him to lose a minute, and ultimately that test.

Despite the time lost in the final two tests, Mullins was able to take his eighth win of 2013 AMA National Enduro at Cross Timber.

With the AMA National Enduro Series no complete, Mullins will focus on the final round of the GNCC Series where he is in a tight battle with his teammate Kailub Russell for the championship.

Charlie Mullins says: “I had a great season in the National Enduro Series and I can’t thank my team enough for all their support. Now I hope to earn another championship for them next weekend at the Ironman GNCC.”
