2013 Global X Games Enduro X
Last weekend, X Games Enduro X took its first global trip to Foz Do Iquacu in Brazil.
And taking the win in Brazil was the current GEICO AMA EnduroCross Champion – Taddy Blazusiak.
The KTM rider had to overcome poor qualifying and an “extremely” slick track to win the international round, which is one of four global races set for 2013.
Beta’s Cody Webb of California was the Polish rider’s biggest challenge, and the two swapped the lead a few times. Webb finished second, with Husqvarna’s David Knight of the UK – a multi-time World Enduro and GNCC Champion – rounding out the podium.
Taddy Blazusiak says: “I don’t know how it looks on TV but I have never ridden something as hard as this track. It’s so slick … I’m super stoked on first place. I gave it all I had and I’m so pumped.”
Colton Haaker, another American and winner of the 2012 Las Vegas opening round finished in fourth position riding a new Rockstar Energy, Lucas Oil backed Honda. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Taylor Robert rounded out the top five.
