In the latest episode of Greg’s Garage (Episode 37), known moto-personality Greg White reviews the 2014 KTM 1190 Adventure from the California back country.
The 1190 Adventure, and its off-road savvy brother the Adventure R, replaces the previous-year’s KTM Adventure 990.
The bike is highlighted by a 1195cc, 75-degree V-Twin that produces 150 horsepower that is usable both on and off the road.
To keep up with competitors such as the BMW R1200GS, KTM loaded the 1190 Adventure with the latest electronics, including four riding modes (Sport, Street, Rain, Off-Road), KTM’s three-mode Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), Electronic Damping System (EDS) electronic suspension, and ABS, the latter disengageable and featuring an off-road mode.
Check out the video above from Greg’s Garage to see what White says about the 1190 Adventure.
