Jay Leno sells Star V-Max for Bailey’s Cafe | Video

Jay Leno at Barrett-Jackson

Jay Leno sold his Star VMAX motorcycle in Las Vegas on Saturday, October 10, 2009 for $120,000.00 USD at the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction. Jay Leno’s auction proceeds, from the famed auctioneers, will go to Bailey’s CafĂ©. Bailey’s Cafe is a center for educational and cultural activity.

"Bailey’s CafĂ© is an arts program," says Jay, "but since I didn’t have any Yamaha musical instruments to auction off, I thought I’d sell my Star VMAX, which was made by Yamaha." After the bidding stalled at around $60,000, Leno upped the ante by offering his motorcycle jacket and helmet along with his brand new Star VMAX.
