Indian Motorcycle Presents Jack Daniel’s Themed Custom Chief Vintage Bagger For Charity Auction | Custom Motorcycle News

Indian Motorcycle presented a stunning 2014 Chief Vintage bagger customized by Klock Werks at the Long Beach stop on the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows tour.

Flanked by female presentation models in shorts and chaps, the Chief Vintage touring motorcycle will be sold at auction by Barrett-Jackson next month, with the proceeds benefiting Operation Ride Home, a military-focused charity.

Operation Ride Home is a charitable partnership between Jack Daniel Distillery and Armed Services YMCA. Its goal is to assist junior-enlisted services members in getting home to their families during the holiday season.

USMC Lance Corporal Johnny Cornejo, Jr., a beneficiary of Operation Ride Home program, and John Baer, a San Diego chapter board member for the Armed Forces YMCA, were there for the December 6 unveiling of the motorcycle, dubbed “No. 7,” in recognition of the contributions of Jack Daniel Distillery.

The Brian Klock-led team at Klock Werks, a Mitchell, S.D.-based motorcycle customization company that specializes in baggers, massaged the Indian-donated Chief Vintage with such touches as hand-laid pinstriping, Jack Daniel’s logos, the Operation Ride Home logo, and a stunning custom embossed leather seat. The customized Chief Vintage is serial number 007 off the production line, making it a collectible low production number.

“All of us at Polaris Industries are proud of our decades-long support of our U.S. Armed Services personnel and their families, and the Indian Motorcycle brand has an even longer heritage of supporting the United States military dating back to World War I,” said Steve Menneto, Vice President of Motorcycles at Polaris. “Today we are pleased to extend that relationship by partnering with our friends at Jack Daniel’s and the Armed Services YMCA in support of Operation Ride Home. The Old No. 7 label in black and a red Indian Chief are two of this country’s most iconic symbols, so we are honored to donate the No. 7 unit of our history-making new 2014 Indian Chief motorcycles for the benefit of our hard-working and dedicated military personnel and their families.”

“For the third year in a row, we are honored to play a leadership role in sponsoring this important campaign in support of the fiercely loyal men and women of our Armed Forces and their families by helping assist those members who otherwise might not be able to spend precious time with their families over the holiday season,” Dave Stang, Marketing Manager for Jack Daniel’s said. “We anticipate an even greater outpouring of support for this campaign in 2013 and we sincerely welcome the partnership and support of our friends at Indian Motorcycle.”

Robert Pandya, External Relations Manager for Indian Motorcycle, pointed out that both Indian and Jack Daniel’s are iconic American brands, and that it was a natural for them to team up to assist American servicemen.
