Honda TT Revolution Born at 2014 Isle of Man TT | Video Recap

Honda TT Revolution

Since racing began at the Isle of Man TT in 1907, the tiny island between the United Kingdom and Ireland has become a must-do for the serious motorcycle road-racing enthusiasts.

Over the past few years, attendance has grown for the seven-day event that features nine races. Capitalizing on the popularity, Honda began its “Honda TT Revolution” at the 2014 TT.

This event featured two club nights with internationally-renowned DJs Carl Cox and Danny Howard who headlined exclusive opening and closing parties during the race week.

In the video above, Honda recaps the new event, which will return in 2015. Honda says “The Honda TT Revolution video sums up this incredible event and explains why this is one trip that should be on everyone’s bucket list.”

During this year’s Isle of Man TT, Honda’s top rider – John McGuinness – began 2014 with 20 TT wins, and left with 21. The 42-year-old “Morecambe Missile” had nursed a wrist throughout the two-week TT, but was able to take the win in the Zero TT. McGuinness, who piloted a Honda TT Legends CBR1000RR, and a Honda CBR600RR, is now one TT closer to tying with the late Joey Dunlop, who earned 26.
