Day 1: Arrive in Kullu, transport to Manali
Airport transport from the Kullu Airport to the outdoor recreation capital of India! Take a rest, walk the streets Welcome Dinner this Evening. Get ready to ride amazing roads with dramatic scenery.
Day 2: Rest Day in Manali, Bike Familiarization, Day Ride
Meet your Royal Enfield and ride around Manali. Get used to riding in India! Join our guide for a short day ride out of town! Shop, walk the streets, relax and sleep off the time change!
Day 3: Manali to Shoja – 110 km
Ride south out of Manali, before veering onto a country road. No one can prepare you for the exhilaration of the traffic in India, nor the spectacular forest scenery! Clear flowing mountains streams cascade through lush pine forests. Ride the Spiti River Valley. Stay in Shoja.
Day4: Shoja to Sarahan – 130 km
Climb to nearly 10,000 feet over scenic Jalori Pass (3,220m) before riding on to Sarahan. Stunning mountains scenery abounds. Check out the historic temple at Bhimakali, from the 12th Century.
Day 5: Sarahan to Recong Peo – 110 km
Ride the amazing mountain road as it winds its way along steep cliffs under the shadow of glacial peaks. Impossible to describe. Stay in Recong Peo.
Day 6: Recong Peo to Nako – 120 km
Apply for an Inner Line Permit in the morning, and ride an incredible mountain road the rest of the day. Steep canyon walls surround you as you make your way to the small pastoral town of Nako.
Watch the locals continue their age-old herding lifestyle. Marvel at the mountain scenery in this quaint Bhoti village. At over 10,000, you realize you are in the Tibetan culture.
Day 7: Nako to Kaza – 130 km
Ride through spectacular mountain scenery all day long!! Traffic will be seldom, and the breathtaking scenery will overwhelm you. Stay at Kaza, home to the worlds’ highest gas station.
Day 8: Rest Day Kaza – 50 km
Take a day to check out the Market in Kaza, and ride out to scenic Ki Gompa, with is stunning views or visit the historic salt town of Kibber, high in the Himalayas.
Day 9: Kaza to Chattru (Camp) – 140 km
Ride over stunning Kunzum Pass (4,551m). Venture into the remote world of the Himalayas this day! Cathedral-like mountain scenery all around… Camp at Chattru.
Day 10: Chattru to Keylong – 100 km
Ride the remote Chandra River Valley to Keylong. Enjoy mountain vistas and challenging road surfaces all the way to Keylong. Explore Keylong in the afternoon. Ride the switchbacks of Rohtang Pass to Manali. Stay in Keylong.
Day 11: Keylong to Sarchu – 80 km
When you think the scenery can’t get any better, you find yourself and the comfortable camp at Sarchu. Crest Baralacha Pass (4,950m) this day, and find yourself in heart of the Himalayas! Camp at Sarchu.
Day 12: Sarchu to Lachalung Pass to Jispa – 115 km
Ride to the highest point of Lachalung Pass (5,065m) before returning back to Jispa. You will be at the top of the world today. Join a very adventurous group of riders to the top of the world! Stay in Jispa.
Day 13: Jispa to Manali – 130 km
Though the last day of riding of the trip, certainly this day is not to be forgotten, as we go over epic Rohtang Pass (3,975m) before dropping into Manali. Turn in bikes and Farewell Dinner.
Day 14: Farewell day
