Harley-Davidson Sunglasses
Harley-Davidson is excitement. The mere mention of the name immediately calls to mind a dynamic slice of American heritage and the intangible mystique of the road less traveled.
Last year, to commemorate the Motor Company’s 105th anniversary, the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee opened its doors to the public, playing host to past and future generations of Harley riders and motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world. In the months that followed, Harley’s longtime eyewear licensee, the Viva International Group, announced plans for a his-and-hers commemorative collectors’ edition sunglass series.
For well over a decade, the Harley-Davidson Performance Eyewear Collection has employed the same engineering and precision tooling necessary to accompany various challenging lifestyles.
The sunglass series was introduced first as a complement, then later as a response, to the fit and comfort feedback from Harley riders at motorcycle rallies across the country, including Sturgis and Daytona. Respect for the collection began to grow, as did the demand for newer, progressive styles-a challenge and a success for Viva and Harley.
This season brings two eagerly anticipated models exclusively to authorized Harley-Davidson dealerships nationwide for a limited time. The LadyHawk pays tribute to the women who inspire, and who are inspired by the freedom the road brings, featuring stone-enhanced tattoo art on each temple.
The studded Eagle model is the male counterpart, with a laser engraved temple to enhance the iconic bar and shield logo embedded in metal. Each sunglass captures the essence of the brand, and the lifestyle that embodies the experience.
Each piece of this collection is handmade, individually numbered, and limited to a production of 1,000. The presentation includes a special coordinating case for each, as well as an exclusive collector’s edition jewel box with a certificate of authenticity.
