Trikes continue to become more popular in the world of motorcycling, and many companies have found ways to create these three-wheeled machines out of various manufactures, including Harley-Davidson.
And now the Harley Sportster is involved. DMC Sidecars of Enumclaw, Wash., recently developed a trike kit for 2003 and older belt-drive Sporster motorcycles. DMC says a kit will soon be available for 2004 and newer Harley Sporster models.
This DMC kit is 100-percent bolt-on, and doesn’t require any welding. The DMC Sportster Trike kit includes full body work, swing arm, wheels and tires. With the introductory pricing of $4995, ground shipping within the continental United States is included.
From DMC Trikes:
Orders placed now will have a mid-July shipping date and can be packaged for ease of shipping and delivery via Federal Express ground service. Installation of the trike kit can be done in DMC’s facility.
