And this year was no exception. During the press conference held at Milan’s Carcano Theater on Nov. 1, Ducati officially unveiled its new 2011 motorcycle range.
Newly unveiled for 2011 were four new models: Ducati 1198 SP (Superbike), 848 EVO (Superbike), the Monster 1100 EVO (Naked Bike) and finally the long awaited and heavily spied 2011 Ducati Diavel (Cruiser Motorcycle).

The innovative new 2011 Diavel combines decades of twin-cylinder heritage and Italian style with a bold, world-beating technical confidence strong enough to extend the boundaries of motorcycle design.
For connoisseurs of technology; ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Riding Modes deliver technical sophistication to a motorcycle that is packed with 162hp of authentic superbike-like performance while weighting in at only 207kg (456 lbs.).
A specially engineered 240 section rear tire combined with famous Ducati chassis technology serves up the handling and lean angles which defy the laws of Harley-Davidson physics.
The latest ground-breaking Ducati is available in two versions: The Diavel and the flagship Diavel Carbon with a character-forming mix of aesthetic and performance components from carbon fiber bodywork to forged and specially machined Marchesini wheels.
