Drag Specialties: 2010 Adirondack Run

Motorcycle Runs

In an effort to show their support to their loyal dealer network, Drag Specialties continued their annual tradition of hosting a dealer ride held in some of the most picturesque settings in the country. This year’s ride was the Adirondack Run held in Lake George, N.Y. on Sept. 19 – 22, 2010.

This is the fifth year Drag Specialties has hosted a dealer ride but the first time visiting the Empire State. Other previous “runs” visited the Redwoods in California, the Black Hills of South Dakota, the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina, and the Ozark Mountains.

Regardless of the location, the annual dealer ride provides an excellent opportunity for those qualifying dealers to further their relationships with prominent industry brands, Drag Specialties dealer representatives and other dealers in a casual environment.

Perry Noel (Harley-Davidson Bowling Green) says: “This is our third time being here and we’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I think the biggest thing is everyone is here to have a good time. We can forget about all of the hassles of work and just have a good time and enjoy motorcycling.”

This year’s ride featured multiple loops with hundreds of miles of scenic, winding roads and included stops at the 1980 Winter Olympic-host town of Lake Placid and Jimbo’s Club on Brant Lake.

Attendees also enjoyed a trip down performance alley where they were able to talk with vendors about new products, place orders with some extra discounts, and enjoy multiple group lunches and dinners throughout the four-day event.
