BMW of North America has recalled 1,060 of its G650GS motorcycles due to engine control unit (ecu) issues.

BMW reports that the following models may be affected: 2013-2015 G650GS motorcycles built from March 8, 2013, to March 2, 2015, and 2013-2014 G 650 GS Sertao motorcycles built March 8, 2013, to May 23, 2014.

BMW says that the affected motorcycles may stall when they are idling and the clutch lever is pulled in. If this occurs, the engine may stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
