And on Friday, the Austrian-based brand announced the dates and details of its 12th annual KTM Adventure Rider Rally.
This year’s rally – the only national festival for KTM owners and enthusiasts – will occur in Crested Butte, Colo., Sept. 18-20, 2015. The 2015 KTM Adventure Rider Rally is designed for KTM 640, 690, 950, 990, 1190 and 1290 Adventure and Enduro owners, but is open to all brands of street-legal motorcycles.
KTM says “Participants will learn from KTM experts as they cover a technical overview of the new 1290 Super Adventure model in between jam-packed days of dual-sport riding. In addition, KTM will host free demo rides to all participants aboard the KTM street line of motorcycles including: 690 Enduro R, 1190 Adventure, 1190 Adventure R and the 1290 Super Adventure. Select meals are included throughout the three-day event.”
Many top-level KTM Supercross, Enduro and road-racing riders will be present, also, including Andrew Short, Mike Lafferty, Russell Bobbitt and Chris Fillmore.
Those who pre-register will save some cash due to a reduced rate of $165 per person – including a free t-shirt. . This price does not include bike or lodging. KTM does have a reserved group rate for lodging at the host hotel.
