At this year’s Daytona Bike Week, Harley-Davidson unveiled the 2014 Low Rider.
The Dyna debuted in 1977, and garnered much attention – so much that it outsold every other Harley model in its first year of production. The bike remained a strong seller throughout the years, but when Harley slimmed down its offerings for 2009, the Low Rider was dropped.
But it returns for 2014, and with many improvements. The 2014 Low Rider arrives with Harley’s proven Twin Cam 103 that produces 98.8 ft.lb. of torque, and a restyled chassis with ergonomics that were tweaked to cater to riders from 5’1” to 6’1”.
Harley also added a few other new features, such as dual 300mm front disc brakes, and a chrome 2-into-1 exhaust that pays homage to the 1977 model.
