2014 BMW F800GS Adventure
BMW is upgrading the F 800 GS to Adventure status for 2014, giving its mid-size adventure bike expanded off-road and touring capabilities.
A new 6.3-gallon tank adds over two gallons of fuel capacity compared to the standard GS, extending its range about 100 miles. You’ll be able to ride longer on the highway thanks to a larger windshield and improved seating.
For the dirt, the GS Adventure gets a reinforced subframe, improved engine protection, wider footpegs, and a stronger, now-adjustable brake pedal.
On the electronic front, the Adventure’s Automatic Stability Control option now has an enduro mode, so the rider can increase the traction threshold on loose terrain.
