Red Bull KTM's Ken Roczen

2014 A1 Supercross Wallpaper

A Red Bull KTM SX-F 450 took the top spot last Saturday at the the season opener of the 2014 Monster Energy Supercross Championship in Anaheim, Calif., but it wasn’t two-time Supercross Champion Ryan Dungey taking the honors.

Instead, it was his teammate, the rookie Ken Roczen. The Germany, who just made it into the final, was second at the end of the first lap behind early leader Ryan Villopoto aboard the Monster Energy Kawasaki KX-F 450.

He remained in second until the eighth lap when the three-time SX Champion crashed. This gave Roczen the lead, and he kept it to the checkered flag, winning ahead of Dungey and TwoTwo Motorsports Kawasaki’s Chad Reed, who switched from Honda to Kawasaki ahead of 2014 SX.

As for Villopoto, he finished fourth as he chases his fourth-straight title.

We were at Anaheim I Supercross, and took plenty of pictures highlighting the intense action. To get the energy flowing for Phoenix SX tonight, here are some wallpaper pieces of our favorite views of Roczen, Reed and, of course, Villopoto.
