2012 AMA Supercross
In the 2011 AMA Supercross/Motocross championships, Australian’s Chad Reed began a new trek, competing with his self-owned team, Two-Two Motorsports Honda.
Financially, things were tight in 2011, but for 2012, Reed has full backing from American Honda, who provided the No. 22 rider with a CR-F 450 for the SX season.
Although a challenge being competitive on a self-funded team, Reed proved its possible; he finished second overall the 2011 Supercross, only four points behind Champion Ryan Villopoto (Monster Energy Kawasaki).
And he’s already on a role for 2012. At the season-opener in Angel Stadium, Anaheim, Calif., Chad took second behind Villopoto.
The video above shows Reed prepping for 2012 Supercross, and he offers his views on his team, Two-Two Motorsports.
