Honda Red Riders Benefit Ride for Kids

2012 Daytona 200 Weeek

During the Honda Daytona Kick-Off Party on Friday, March 9, a few Supercross Red Riders will be on hand, helping to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Ride for Kids at the start of Daytona Bike Week.

The team will be at Honda’s main display area in front of Daytona International Speedway from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 9.

Signing autographs and greeting fans will be the following riders: Chad Reed (injured), Jeremy McGrath, Trey Canard (injured), Justin Brayton, Ashley Fiolek, Kevin Windham, Justin Barcia, Justin Bogle, Andrew Short, and others.

The Supercross stars will also donate autographed jerseys and riding apparel in support of the PBTF. Attendees are asked to pitch in by making a $2-$5 donation. Ride for Kids team members will also be handing out free “I Wanna Ride” T-shirts while supplies last. Snacks and water will be provided to the first 300 guests.

Honda’s Main Display Area is also where you can find the latest Cycle World/Ride for Kids motorcycle drawing bikes. This year you can choose your weapon in the war on childhood brain tumors: a Honda CBR250R customized by Gregg DesJardins or a Honda Ruckus reimagined by Troy Lee.

If you can’t make it in person, you can get your drawing tickets online, by calling 800-253-6530 or by writing to PBTF Motorcycle Drawing, 302 Ridgefield Ct., Asheville, NC, 28806.

No purchase is necessary, but the recommended donation is $5 for one ticket or $20 for five. Make your donation now.

Entrants must be 18 years of age and a citizen of the United States. Limit of 50 tickets per person per bike. For more information, please see the official rules.
