Sons of Anarchy Actresses in Playboy

Two actresses from FX’s hit motorcycle drama “Sons of Anarchy” were recently featured in Playboy, both taking the cover.

First to hit the pages of Playboy Playboy.com was the actress who plays the porn star “Lyla” on SOA, Winter Ave Zoli. Zoli, who’s known for her hardcore roles, was featured in an eight-page spread in the March 2011 issue Playboy, and also took the cover.

But her career began with no notions of running with made-up motorcycle gang. The woman of Pennsylvania studied ballet in the Czech Republic before enrolling in New York City’s Atlantic Theatre Company. She then moved to LA, and has appeared in a few films, including “The Pagan Queen” and “Hellboy,” before appearing on “Sons of Anarchy.”

Following Zoli into the pages of Playboy was Taryn Manning in the April 2011 issue of Playboy. And just like Zoli, she wasn’t only featured in the magazine, Manning she also took the cover shot.

On “Sons of Anarchy,” Manning was featured in four episodes as “Cherry.” While seeking to be an “Old Lady” for the “Sons of Anarchy,” she gets beat up by Katey Sagal’s character, Gemma Teller.

Manning has been featured in the films “8 Mile,” “Cold Mountain,” as well as the upcoming “Manson Girls.” Due to her performance in “Sons of Anarchy,” she was picked to play McGarrett’s younger sister in the CBS’s new version of “Hawaii Five-O.”

Besides her role in “Sons of Anarchy” and her feature in Playboy, she also performs with her brother Kellin in an “electro-pop” band titled “Boomkat.”

Having these two “Sons of Anarchy” actresses featured in the iconic magazine Playboy confirms that the motorcycle culture is alive and well on television. And there will likely be additional woman from the series in Playboy soon.
