After the unveiling of the new designs for the Marc Marquez Moto2 racing motorcycle, it was not too long before seeing it in action. The Reposl team traveled to Jerez, in the Andalusian area of Spain, just after the official launch event to take part in the last of the preseason tests.
It was just one day after the official launch that Marquez, the 125 GP champ and 2011 rookie Moto2 rider, flew his new Repsol colors for the very first time at the Jerez Circuit.
Marc Marquez went out on the track at half past eleven in the morning. But he was only able to complete six laps to reacquaint himself with track and the Honda-spec-powered 600cc motorcycle dressed in the new bright orange and black colors.
Unfortunately the Moto2 motorcycle test was stopped short as bad weather interrupted the young Spanish rider’s ability to complete the planned training, at the Jerez Circuit, as the rain continued intermittently.
