World Superbike Video
At the 2011 World Superbike finale in Portimao, Jonathan Rea showed the impressive performance of the Castrol Honda CBR1000RR.
The 24-year old of Northern Ireland went on to post a 1:41.712 at the Portuguese track, which became the fastest lap ever posted in World Superbike. The lap was three-tenths of a second faster than the previous record set by Cal Crutchlow (Yamaha) in 2010.
This allowed Rea to take pole position for the WSBK finale, and it was all caught on camera by one of Rea’s mechanics – Daniel Postmus, who stands a very tall 6′ 10".
Talking about the GoPro recorded video, Honda Europe reports "It’s a unique encounter and a real close-up and personal view of life in a World Superbike team garage and on the pit wall. Our thanks to InFront Motorsport and Eurosport for the on-track footage and, of course, to Daniel, for all the rest."
Following his pole start, Rea finished third in both Portimao races.Google+
