MIC Revive Your Ride!

Kurt Hayden of Hayden Honda is getting a customized, direct marketing list, using the Polk Motorcycle Garage Predictor tool, having won that useful prize for being one of the first 300 dealers to register for the Revive Your Ride! Fall Giveaway.

He was randomly selected in the latest floor-traffic-boosting promotion coming from the Motorcycle Industry Council’s ongoing Revive Your Ride! program. The Polk Motorcycle Garage Predictor tool will help create a custom list for Hayden, of Kendallville, Ind., helping him with new prospects and store visits by reaching potential customers most likely to own certain types of bikes by brand, segment, displacement, purchase type and purchase timing.

Cam Arnold (Vice President, Aftermarket at MIC) says: “This year we’re reaching out to dealerships with some great incentives to participate in our Revive Your Ride! Fall Giveaway. It costs no money to participate in this great program that increases floor traffic and puts cash into customer pockets. And now, dealers can win some valuable prizes on top of that.”

Two more terrific dealer incentives from Revive Your Ride! will be won by participating dealers in the upcoming months. Two lucky dealerships will each win a very special VIP weekend prize package to the 2012 Dealer Expo, Feb. 16-19, in Indianapolis. That VIP package includes a $500 travel voucher, three-night hotel stay, food, parties and more.

One of those winning dealers will be picked at random from among all of the dealers participating in the Revive Your Ride! Fall Giveaway. The other winner will be the one with the retail customer who comes into the dealer and wins the grand prize. Two big winners from one store.

The Revive Your Ride! Fall Giveaway runs Oct. 15 through Dec. 31 and offers retail customers the chance to win one of three great prizes:

  • Grand Prize: $10,000
  • First Place: $2,500
  • Second Place: $1,000

These prizes are awarded in the form of pre-loaded debit cards, which can be spent on gear, parts, accessories, service, or whatever the customer wants.

Cam Arnold says: “For no money at all, zero investment, retailers can give their customers a shot at winning $10,000, $2,500 or $1,000. It’s another good way to bump up customer traffic, it supports new product introductions, helps move older product, encourages customers to come in for end-of-season service, holiday offers and much, much more.”

There is still time to participate if dealers hurry. The promotion requires no investment from retailers, just a quick sign-up at mic.org/reviveyourride. The retailer receives two promotion posters and will have unlimited access to online downloadable flyers, postcards and other digital assets. In addition, each retailer is issued a unique dealer code and is listed on the dealer locator on the public Revive your Ride! website at reviveyourride.org.

It’s easy and free for retail customers, too. They enter the Revive Your Ride! Fall Promotion by getting the entry code from their dealer. Next, they go to reviveyourride.org, enter the “entry code” and complete the online entry form. That’s it. Winners will be notified on or after Jan. 17, 2012. Click here to review the contest rules.

Revive Your Ride! was created and is funded by the aftermarket members of the Motorcycle Industry Council specifically to build excitement for two-wheeling and to bring the riding community back to the many retailers of motorcycles, ATVs, side by-sides, service and aftermarket parts and accessories.

The Motorcycle Industry Council exists to preserve, protect and promote motorcycling through government relations, communications and media relations, statistics and research, aftermarket programs, development of data communications standards, and activities surrounding technical and regulatory issues. As a not-for-profit, national industry association, the MIC seeks to support motorcyclists by representing manufacturers and distributors of motorcycles, scooters, motorcycle/ATV/ROV parts and accessories, and members of allied trades such as insurance, finance and investment firms, media companies and consultants.

The MIC is headquartered in Irvine, Calif., with a government relations office adjacent to Washington, D.C. First called the MIC in 1970, the organization has been in operation since 1914. Visit the MIC at mic.org.
