2012 AMA Superbike
Following a year in World Superbike aboard the Pedericini Kawasaki ZX-10R, the youngest brother of MotoGP’s Nicky Hayden, Roger Lee Hayden, joined the AMA Superbike grid aboard the No. 54 Michael Jordan Motorsports National Guard Suzuki GSX-R1000 for 2011.
And for 2012 AMA Superbike, Roger Lee Hayden will once again pilot the National Guard Suzuki on the Michael Jordan Motorsports Team, the Kentuckian a teammate of Ben Bostrom (No. 23 MJM Suzuki GSX-R1000).
Roger Lee Hayden (National Guard Suzuki GSX-R 1000) says: "I’m really excited to be returning to Michael Jordan Motorsports and representing the Army National Guard again. The team and I really came on strong near the end of the season and I hope that we can keep that momentum going into next year.
"I feel like I have one of the best crews in the paddock so it’s great to keep the same unit together. I am especially honored to represent the men and women of the National Guard this year as they celebrate 375 years of service to our country."
Kreig Robinson (MJM Vice President of Corporate Relations) says: "Roger Hayden gave us a first-class effort in 2011 and proved that he deserves the opportunity to ride a Superbike.
"His ‘ready to work’ attitude toward development made him an easy choice to return to ride for us and to represent the National Guard in 2012. We always set our sights on championship contention, and we’re confident in Roger Lee’s commitment to excellence."
