The Isle of Man was the setting for the legendary Tourist Trophy where big names in motorcycle racing battle for victory with Dainese as the event’s safety partner.
On Saturday, the IOMTT racers participating in the Dainese Superbike Race had to surrender to John McGuinness (Honda TT Legends), the winner of a splendid triumph that brought his total number of IOMTT victories to 16.
The day appeared promising for Dainese racer, Guy Martin (Relentless Suzuki by TAS), who stuck close to the heels of IOMTT – boy McGuinness for nearly the entire race before he was forced to pull out just one lap from the end due to an electronic problem. The second-place IOMTT finish went to Cameron Donald; third place was claimed by Gary Johnson.
