Chad Reed Crash Video: Millville Motocross

Motocross Crash Video

Chad Reed came charging into the Spring Creek AMA Motocross National in Millville, Minn., this weekend. The Australian was coming off an overall win at RedBud two weeks ago, hoping to extend his MX lead.

In moto 1 at Spring Creek, everything looked perfect for Reed, the Two-Two Motorsports Honda rider took an easy win.

And just when he was leading the second moto, Reed appeared to fall out of the sky when he crashed the Honda CRF450F on the track’s largest jump. Reed fell to the ground from 50-feet in the air, but surprisingly was able to restart the Motocross race, finishing 14th.

Chad Reed (Two-Two Motorsports Honda CRF450R) says: "I hit some bumps and the front wheel just went out from under me. The next thing I know, I’m flying through the air. I’m just happy to still be here. It’s all about the championship.

"I wasn’t about to lay down and let these guys gain 25 points, so I just went out there and rode my best and took my 14th. It’s always going to be a fight, and now it’s definitely going to be that way. I’m excited for the rest of the races."
